Society Activities

The Psychoanalytic Society of New England, East strives to deepen the development of psychoanalysis by supporting its members in furthering their educational, research and professional efforts.

It sponsors opportunities for collegial activities and outreach to mental health professionals, interested groups or individuals, and the general community. Activities of the Society have included scientific meetings, risk management presentations, clinical discussion groups, film discussions, a parent-child center, extension division courses, and the Psychoanalytic Educational Forum of Boston. The Psychoanalytic Society and Institute of New England, East sponsor a quarterly newsletter (PDF format).

Application for membership in the Society is open to psychoanalysts, analytic candidates and others with a strong interest in psychoanalysis.
