Membership is open to the mental health community, scholars, and students interested in psychoanalysis
Becoming a member gives you the opportunity to acquire continuing education credits and reduced fees (conferences are frequently free for members) when you attend our Scientific Meetings. Members also receive a subscription to the Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing (“PEP”) archive at a greatly reduced group rate. Members may join Center-sponsored study groups and clinical case discussions. Members offer short seminars in their special area of interest or expertise. Members are invited to teach, to supervise, and to mentor trainees. The cost of membership varies by membership category:
Full Members--Graduates of APsaA/IPA Institutes
Annual Fee: $1050
Privileges include: voting to elect representatives to the Executive Council of the American Psychoanalytic Association if you are an APsaA member and on matters pertaining to organizational development at PINE, access to PEP-web (+$66 PINE group rate), free CE/CME credits*, referral listing with contact information and area of expertise on the PINE website, participation in PINE administration and/or educational activities including teaching, supervising, and mentoring in our training programs.
Reciprocal Members--Full Members of other APsaA/IPA Institutes
Annual Fee: $350
Privileges include: access to PEP-web (+$67 optional), free CE/CME credits*, referral listing, participation in PINE educational activities
Adjunct Members--Full Members of non-APsaA/IPA Institutes
Annual Fee: $350

Clinician Associate Members--Licensed independent clinicians
Annual fee: $250

Scholar Associate Members--Academics who are not licensed independent clinicians

Candidate Associate Members--Candidates at other psychoanalytic institutes
Annual fee: $100
Privileges include: access to PEP-web (+$37, optional), free CE/CME credits*, participation in PINE educational activities
Student Members--Trainees in medicine, psychiatry, psychology, social work, mental health counseling, etc.
Annual fee: $75 (includes PEP-web)|
