Treatment Philosophy:
My principal clinical commitment is to intensive exploratory psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with those suffering from deeply ingrained, emotionally fraught difficulties within themselves and in their relationships that they are unable to understand and thus fruitfully modify. As an existentialist and a Freudian (enriched by myriad analytic perspectives that have grown out of the latter), I believe that people coming to understand the true nature of their predicaments in living allows them to genuinely confront them and achieve their resolution.
